How do I install a modpack?

Installing a modpack on your server is refreshingly simple thanks to the Mods & Plugins page — for most popular packs it's a single click. The panel grabs the right loader and every mod for you, so you're only a few steps from playing.

How the Mods & Plugins page works

The Mods & Plugins page is a built-in installer (modpacks come from Modrinth). When you pick a pack, it automatically fetches the matching Forge or Fabric loader and all of the pack's mods, then sets everything up for you — no manual file juggling.

Step-by-step

1. Open the Mods & Plugins page and search for the pack you want.
2. Click install — the panel fetches the correct loader and all the mods automatically.
3. When it finishes, start the server from the Console.
4. In your Minecraft launcher, load the same modpack version, then connect to your server.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install the loader separately? No — the Mods & Plugins page installs the matching Forge/Fabric loader along with the mods, all in one step.
