A region transfer is done by our team and typically completes fairly quickly once scheduled. The server does stop during the move and restarts in its new home.

What affects the timing

Timing depends mainly on two things:

  • Server size — bigger worlds take longer to copy.
  • Queue — how many transfers are ahead of yours.

The server is stopped while it's copied and comes back up in the new location once the move finishes.

How to start one

  1. Open a ticket asking to move to New York or Germany.
  2. We'll schedule it and keep you posted on progress.

Tip: Larger modpack worlds copy more slowly — trimming unused world folders beforehand can shorten the move.

Frequently asked questions

Is a restart needed? Yes — the server is stopped during the move and started again in the new region automatically.

Can I keep playing during the transfer? No — the server is offline while its files are copied, then comes back online in the new location.
