How do I give a friend partial access without full host control (subusers)?
You can share panel access with a friend or co-owner without handing over your whole account. Subusers let you grant exactly the areas you choose — and nothing else.
What subusers can do
The Sub-users page lets you add someone with granular permissions. You decide what they can touch — for example Console and Files, but not Settings or billing. They never see your billing or account details, and you can remove them at any time.
Step-by-step
- Open the Sub-users page on your server.
- Add the person's email address.
- Grant only the permissions you want them to have (e.g. Console and Files, but not Settings).
- They accept the invite and can then manage just those areas.
Tip: This is for panel access. For in-game staff permissions and ranks, use LuckPerms instead.
Frequently asked questions
Can a subuser see my billing? No. Subusers only get the panel permissions you grant — they never see your billing or account.
How do I remove someone's access? Open the Sub-users page and remove them. Access is revoked immediately.
Is this the same as making them OP? No. Subusers control panel access (Console, Files, etc.). In-game admin rights are separate — use OP or LuckPerms for that.
