Do I need the server off to change version, and how do I do it?

How the install handles power

When you install from the Software page, it takes care of bringing the server down and back up around the install. Your only job is to let it complete before you start playing again.

Changing version

1. Back up first — click Back up now on your server's Backups page (or download your world and files via Files or SFTP).
2. Open the Software page (the Version chip at the top of the console), choose software + version + build, and install it.
3. The panel installs, then start (or restart) the server from the Console tab.
