What are the upload size limits, and how do I upload large files?

There's no upload size limit: your server's Files page takes files or whole folders of any size (drag and drop) and sends them straight to the server, and SFTP works too. Whichever method you choose, everything you upload counts toward your plan's disk allocation.

For large worlds, modpacks, or backups, drag them into Files or use a desktop SFTP client. Alternatively, you can upload one compressed archive and unarchive it server-side. Just keep an eye on your available disk space.

How to upload large files

1. Open your server's Files page and drag in the files or whole folders — there's no size limit.
2. Alternatively, connect via SFTP (FileZilla/WinSCP), or upload a single compressed archive and unarchive it server-side.
3. Keep total usage within your plan's disk allocation.

Warning: Your uploads count against your plan's disk quota — if you're near the limit, uploads (and unarchiving) can fail. Free up space, move to a bigger plan with Change plan on your server's Billing page (on Budget Minecraft and Hytale you can add storage there), or message the team.
