Can I get backups delivered off-panel (email, Google Drive, download link, daily)?
Every server is backed up automatically twice a day, and you can download a backup from your server's Backups page whenever you like. Keeping your own off-machine copies on top of that is good practice — it keeps you protected and in control.
How it works
You download a backup (or your files) whenever you like and store it wherever suits you — your PC, Google Drive, or another cloud. Backups aren't emailed or sent to a cloud drive for you; you download the copies yourself.
How to keep off-panel copies
- Download a backup from your server's Backups page (it comes as a
.tar.gz, up to 2 GB), or download your files via Files or SFTP. - Store them wherever you like — PC, Google Drive, or another cloud.
- Automatic delivery to email or a cloud drive isn't available; message the team if you need help.
Tip: Keeping your own dated copies off the server, on top of the automatic backups, is the safest habit.
