Can support restore or create a backup for me (a specific date, folder, or file)?
You can do this yourself now: every server is backed up automatically twice a day, and your server's Backups page lets you restore a backup from a specific date or make a new one with Back up now. If something goes wrong, our staff can still help.
How we help
On the Backups page you can browse a backup and restore it — into a new folder (handy when you only need one folder or file back), over the current files, or the whole server. When you'd like a hand, message the team, and scoped subuser access lets us work directly if needed.
How to arrange it
- To make a backup now, open your server → Backups and click Back up now (the newest 3 manual backups are kept).
- To restore a specific date, pick that backup on the Backups page, browse it, and restore it into a new folder, over the current files, or the whole server.
- If you need help, message the team and tell us exactly what you need; to let us work directly, add us as a Files subuser and remove the access afterward.
Warning: Restoring over the current files overwrites current data — restore into a new folder if you're unsure what you want kept. We never need your panel password; use subuser access.
Frequently asked questions
Can you restore just one folder? You can do it yourself — restore the backup into a new folder on the Backups page, then move back just the folder you need.
