Will restoring bring back files I deleted?

Restoring will bring back deleted files only if the backup you restore still contains them — so pick one from before the deletion. Every server is backed up automatically twice a day, which usually gives you a recent restore point.

How it works

A restore puts back whatever is in the backup. If the backup predates the deletion, those files come back with it. On the Backups page you can browse a backup first to check the files are in it.

How to bring files back

1. Open your server → Backups, browse a backup from before the deletion, and restore it — into a new folder if you only want a few files back, or over the current files. (A copy you downloaded yourself can be re-uploaded via Files/SFTP instead.)
2. Match the world name to your config so the restored world loads.
3. If you have no backup from before the deletion, message the team — recovery depends on what's available.
