Can I pause my subscription and keep my files?

Yes. Freeze your world lets you take a break without losing your server: it's kept for 12 months and isn't billed while it's frozen.

Freeze instead of cancelling

• Open the server's Billing page in the client area and press Freeze.
• It runs as normal until the time you've paid for ends, then your world is saved to our backup server and the server is kept for you, switched off.
• Two ways: Freeze free, pay when you come back (free to come back for 2 months, then $1 a month, at most $6), or Pay $X now, come back free (one month of your plan, at least $5, into your account wallet; it pays your first month back).
• Press Come back when you're ready: your world is restored into the same server, with the same address.

Other options

• Stop the server in the Console: it stays yours, but it still bills as normal.
• Download a full backup and cancel, then re-upload it to a new server later. Cancelling deletes the server's files.

Tip: Before any break in service, download your world/files from the Files manager or via SFTP so you always have your own copy.
